Privacy Policy

Cornhole Charlotte runs cornhole leagues, tournaments and blind draw nights in Charlotte, NC. This policy explains what we collect when you use play.cornholeclt.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Your name, email address and mobile number.
• Your teams, partners, check-ins, scores, stats and skill level.
• Payment records (amount, date, what it was for). Card and PayPal details are handled by Stripe and PayPal; we never see or store your card number.
• Your notification choices, including whether you opted in to text messages, when, and the exact wording you agreed to.
• Basic technical information needed to keep you signed in and the site secure.

How we use it

• To run leagues and events: signups, payments, check-in, schedules, live scores and standings.
• To send you sign-in codes, and, if you opted in, texts when your match is called.
• To send emails you've chosen to get, such as signup confirmations and league updates.

Mobile numbers and text messages

We never sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text message opt-in data and consent with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is used only to send you the Cornhole Charlotte league alerts you signed up for and sign-in codes. We share it only with the text message provider that delivers those messages for us (Twilio), which may not use it for anything else.

You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP, or by turning them off on your Settings page.

Who else sees your information

• Other players and the public can see your name, team names, check-ins on the court board, scores, standings and stats. Your email address and phone number are never shown publicly.
• League staff (the owner and helpers) can see your contact details to run events.
• Service providers that run parts of the site for us: hosting and database (Supabase, Vercel), payments (Stripe, PayPal), text messages (Twilio) and email. They may use your information only to provide those services.
• If the law requires it.

We don't sell personal information.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep league records (teams, scores, standings) so past seasons stay accurate. You can ask us to correct your details or delete your account at any time by emailing hello@cornholeclt.com; we'll remove your contact details and keep only what we need for past results and payment records.

Children

The site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and tell you about important changes.
